Can I Wear Crocs To Work At Bath And Body Works

The only reason why I would not recommend wearing crocs to bath and body works as an employee is because I have not seen any employee wearing crocs there.

Crocs is a good shoe that does not only produce casual shoes. Crocs has work shoes that would be appropriate for bath and body works. However, I would not recommend wearing it to bath and body works.

At bath and body works, how you look is very important and must not be taken for granted. The dress code policy of this organization must be strictly adhered to by every employee.

When it comes to the types of shoes to wear, there has been a lot of confusion around this as well. However, this article is here to proffer a solution to this conundrum.

Shoes prohibited at Bath and Body Works

At bath and body works, the following shoes are prohibited for all employees.

Flip-Flops are not wanted

Flip-flops are not allowed because it is casual wear and must not be seen in a corporate environment most especially during working hours.

Wearing flip-flops would present you in a negative light which is detrimental to your job and the image of the organization you represent as well. As an employee at bath and body works, don’t wear flip-flops to work. It is one of the prohibited shoes to wear to bath and body works.

Slippers are prohibited

Slippers are prohibited as well. This is also a casual shoe which is not good for you to wear to work. It does not meet the standard of an appropriate shoe for a corporate organization. Furthermore, it offers no support to your feet, toes, ankles, and heels.

Wearing slippers for long hours would cause severe foot and toe conditions. As an organizational principle and for the sake of your feet and toes, slippers are not allowed at bath and body works. As an employee, stay away from wearing slippers to work.

Open toe shoes are not allowed

Open-toed shoes are not allowed except heels. This is very important for you to take note of. I have heard of a lot of people claiming that open-toed shoes are outrightly prohibited for every employee at bath and body works.

However, from my experience, it is not entirely correct. Open-toed shoes are prohibited except heels.

This simply means that for every female employee, it is absolutely okay for you to wear heels to work which is open-toed.

The most important factor is to constantly consider the height of the heel and the designs on the heel. Pay attention to the heel height.

Don’t wear a heel that is too high which might endanger your feet, toes, ankles, heels, arches, and your entire body.

Wear an appropriate heel with an appropriate height. It is absolutely okay for you to wear a heel to work which is open-toed. Apart from heels, no open-toed shoe is allowed for every employee at bath and body works.

Wear a shoe that is protective enough to prevent you from slipping and also from hurting your ankles and arches.

Sneakers/running shoes are not allowed at bath and body works

This is also another major confusion. I have seen a lot of employees on sneakers. However, the general code of conduct requires that no sneaker/running shoe should be worn by any employee.

From the response I got from some employees, they simply stated that some particular job specification requires wearing sneakers and this is why they wear them.

I would recommend that you stay away from your sneakers unless your manager gives you permission to wear them under strict orders. Generally, sneakers are not a part of the accepted shoe to wear to work as an employee at bath and body works.

  • Heels (open-toed or closed-toe).
